Basler defends himself in Tiktok
AfD Shitstorm vs. Aditotoro
Aditotoro has been criticized online for wearing AfD panties. Now the Swiss provide clarity: it was a huge misunderstanding.
Tiktok star Adrian Vogt (23), better known as Aditotoro, wants one thing above all else with his videos: to entertain people. With more than 2 million subscribers, Basler is one of the most popular Tiktokers in our country.
But lately, there’s been headwinds for the Swiss on the entertainment platform. The reason for this is the pants that Aditotoro shows in one of his recent videos.
“Why are you wearing AfD pants” echoes the comments. Alternative for Germany is a right-wing populist party from Germany. It was quiet about it for two days, then Vogt posted an answer video on his account.
A similar slogan caused misunderstanding
“I vote for Alternative for Germany. That is definitely what a lot of people think.” With these words begins his statement. He quickly let the wind out of his sails: “They’re not AfD shorts, but they’re Nike!”
In fact, the two logos look similar at first glance. Vogt was not aware of this because he did not know the slogan of the AfD.
He joked: “I would have worn Bayern Munich before.” Finally, he plays a song for German rap group 01099. “You Pi**** choose AfD, so you f****.” (fmu)
