Aebi Schmidt Group is the USA truck supplier

Aebi Schmidt Group has completed the acquisition of Monroe Truck Equipment, according to a press release. “We are very pleased with the acquisition of Monroe,” says Peter Speller, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ebbe Schmidt Group. The acquisition gives the group a better platform for further growth.

Monroe Truck Equipment manufactures equipment for commercial vehicles in the US state of Wisconsin. These include plows or salt distribution systems as well as attachments and trailers for transportation. “Above all else, Monroe will advance our important winter business,” Spehler continues.

Access to the US distribution network

Through the acquisition, Aebi Schmidt Group can also significantly strengthen its position in the USA. Abe Schmidt can benefit from Monroe’s sales network and state-of-the-art workshops in the USA. “This gives us excellent access to services and customers,” Spuhler confirms. Monroe Truck Equipment has approximately 900 employees. The announcement said the entire Abbey Schmidt group would grow to about 3,000 employees. The annual turnover of the truck supplier is about 270 million US dollars.

With the acquisition, the sales base of the entire group will grow to around 750 million euros. Monroe’s administration will be continued by the current administration.
