According to the community manager, you will get experience points in Battle Pass through daily challenges in Halo Infinite at first.
Community Manager at infinite auraJohn Junyszek revealed on Twitter that experience points in the game’s Battle Pass will initially only be gained through daily challenges. At the moment it is not planned to get XP from the matches played.
However, he also made it clear that there will be a large number of daily challenges that you will never run out of while playing. John Junyszek gives “Millers” only the opportunity to master all the challenges one day, which will impress him very much.
Exactly what the experience points collection capabilities will look like will be explained in a later blog post by the developer.
Tech Preview had an issue that caused people to run out of challenges. Our current launch plans, while not “unlimited”, mean that it is very difficult to meet the daily challenges. I wouldn’t say “impossible” because there are some treadmills out there, but I would be impressed.

Hey Nick – Playing and winning matches will be a challenge, which will help players progress through the Battle Pass. Although this means no experience per match at launch, you still always progress through challenges and thus BP. We will update the blog to clarify 👌
