A polar bear has been seen far from its range in southern Canada. According to reports from authorities and eyewitnesses, the animal appeared on Saturday morning in the small village of Madeleine Center near the Saint Lawrence River.
“Our dog barked and I heard my husband screaming, There’s a bear! There’s a bear! Quebec police urged caution. Residents of the Madeleine Center should stay indoors and not go out.
As a result of climate change?
