Football – Berlin – Hertha plan: Championship in Austria, training camp in the USA – Sports

BERLIN (AP) – Hertha BSC will be traveling to the USA for a winter training camp. The German football club announced, on Tuesday, that it is preparing for the rest of the Bundesliga season from January 3 to 14, 2023 at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The Berlin side will play their first Bundesliga match after the winter break, which was much longer this time due to the World Cup in Qatar, on January 21 at VfL Bochum.

On the weekend of the start of the World Cup in November, Hertha will play a tournament in Klagenfurt, Austria, with professionals who do not travel with their national teams. The other participants on November 19 and 20 are the hosts of first division club SK Austria Klagenfurt, third division club TSV 1860 Munich and York United FC of Canada. More friendlies are scheduled for November 26, December 1 or December 3 and 7. According to Herta, the opponents have not yet been determined. On December 8th, the professionals go on Christmas vacation. On January 2 of the new year, training begins with auditions.
