Espanyol beat Barcelona 4-0, celebrate at the Santiago Bernabeu and celebrate at the Cibeles Fountain in the city center: Real Madrid won the Spanish championship on Saturday night. Not included in all of this: Gareth Bale.
The Welshman, who is leaving Los Blancos after the season, was not called up to the squad on Friday due to back problems. Apparently, this even prevented him from simply coming to the Bernabéu as a spectator and then celebrating with the team. All the other players who weren’t ready to play were there to attend the match.
Bell announced his absence via Twitter. “Cannabis! I’m so disappointed I couldn’t come to the celebrations tonight due to a cramp in my back, but I’m really proud of the title-winning team! Enjoy tonight guys!” #Hala Madrid”The 32-year-old wrote. Is this really the case?
