Wrapped in a terry cloth, German Hans Zimmer, 64, celebrates his very own Oscar. At the hotel bar in Amsterdam – instead of Los Angeles. Perhaps the author of the film did not expect the award.
He tweeted: “It’s 2am in Amsterdam and my daughter Zoe woke me up to go to the hotel bar. Awesome!” He won the Film Music Award for the science fiction movie “Dune”.
For Bradley Cooper (47), it means at the Oscars: “Bring your mom to work.” The 47-year-old ‘Licorice Pizz’ actor attended the 94th Academy Awards with his mom, Gloria Campano. Together they walked the red carpet, laughing and beaming.

Satire about US policy
The Oscars started totally political. “This year the Academy has hired three women as curators – because it’s cheaper than a man,” comedian Amy Schumer (40) said in the opening. She said it when she took to the stage alongside Wanda Sykes, 58, and Regina Hall, 51.
The three hosts also attacked American politics. The Don’t Say It’s Gay Act, which restricts Florida elementary school teachers from talking to their students about gender identity or sexual orientation. “We’re going to have a great night tonight,” Sykes told the audience.
And then, “And for you people in Florida, we’re going to have a gay night.” Laughter ensued, and Hall and Schumer agreed to say the word “Jay” repeatedly—to great applause. (European Union)
