The Pixel 6 has yet to be fully officially presented, as it appears from the back already. However, there are no pictures. But Google has already begun to develop. Wherever the Pixel 7 appears, more and more information about the current Pixel 6 is currently emerging. So the first information about next year’s generation seems perfectly legitimate.
Birds instead of fish
Google internally calls its next smartphone “pipit”, in reference to the species of bird (pipit). Many years later, Google turned into a different kind of animal with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, before smartphones were always internally named after a species of fish. It is also interesting that so far only one symbolic name can be found. So will the Pixel 7 return on its own, without the Pro model?
Google Tensor: The second generation?
It’s too early for that, a final verdict can’t be made. I would say that Google wants to attract new and existing customers back with two devices in the long run. So it’s only a matter of time before the first clues about the Pixel 7 Pro emerge.
It seems more clear that the new Google Tensor will also be in Pixel phones next year. Then it may be the first further development. Qualcomm is no longer expected to return to expensive Pixel phones. However, it is likely that Google will continue to work with the former partner of Chain a.
Pixel 6 camera setup may stay the same
colleagues from XDA We were also able to find the first indications of an ultra-wide-angle camera, which Google keeps in the regular Pixel 7. But it’s too early to do that too, that decision can still be changed at any time. With the Pixel 6, Google uses a second camera for ultra-wide angle, and the Pixel 6 Pro also comes with optical zoom.
